<p>The pigment network is a little unusual, but needs to be classed as atypical as there are dark thick broken up lines (white circle), along with this are structureless areas (asterisks). In terms of symmetry this is certainly not chaotic but my interpretation is that it is mildly asymmetrical. All in all enough for me to excise the lesion. The diagnosis with a benign melanocytic naevus with sclerotic change. On reflection I would still have excised this lesion.</p>
