<p>This relatively long-term lesion in an 83 year old woman had changed in shape and size over the past 3 months. Can you see any positive and/or negative dermoscopic features, and what is the diagnosis?</p>
<p>The positive (reassuring) features are:</p>
<ol><li>Brown/yellow</li><li>Well-demarcated edge (black arrow)</li><li>Areas of brown circles (black circle) </li><li>A few grainy clods (eg purple circle)</li></ol>
<p>These all point to the diagnosis of a seborrhoeic keratoses. It can also be helpful to exclude any negative features, which in facial melanocytic lesions such as lentigo maligna may include asymmetrical grey dots and angulated structures, of which there are none. </p>
<p>No biopsy or follow-up were required.</p>
